26 January is one of the three important national festivals of India. 26 January is celebrated as Republic Day with great enthusiasm and respect throughout the country. This is the day when the republic and constitution came into force in India. This is the reason that this day is also associated with the pride and honor of our country. On this day, many programs are organized across the country and especially in schools and government offices, it is celebrated with great pomp and speech, essay writing and many cultural programs are also organized in its honor. Every year on 26 January, India celebrates its Republic Day because the Constitution of India came into force on this day. After independence, a drafting committee was asked to prepare the draft of the permanent constitution of India in the meeting of 28 August 1947. On 4 November 1947, the draft of the Indian Constitution was placed in the House under the chairmanship of Dr. BR Ambedkar. The constitution was prepared in 2 years 11 months and 18 days. Finally, the waiting time ended with its implementation on 26 January 1950. At the same time the pledge of Poorna Swaraj was also respected.

After this, till 26 January 1930, the British government did not give any answer to this demand of the Congress.
